When the coating is slow to dry and solidifies, not only the scattered glass beads sink into the coating, which reduces the working ability of the reflective surface, but also delays the opening time and reduces the road capacity. Therefore, the temperature of the paint sprayed in the molten state is usually lowered to shorten the curing time.

1. Principle of adhesion and adhesion:

There must be strong adhesion between the marking coating and the ground, and it must not fall off or be damaged. Good adhesion to the ground, the coating is not easy to fall off quickly due to car rolling, sideslip, and braking; the ground will not crack, bend or fall off due to changes in weather and temperature. Heat the thermosetting road marking paint to 180°C-220°C with hot melt paint to melt the thermoplastic resin in the architectural paint, and the architectural paint is in the state of melting and fluidity. Lay the glass marbles flat and dry at room temperature. When coated on the concrete floor surface, the high temperature melting coating is closely connected with the concrete road construction machinery, and the adhesion is poor. In order to improve the adhesion between the ground and the coating, it is necessary to apply the pavement marking topcoat in advance.

2. Visibility:

Whether day or night, hot melt coatings should be bright, well-proportioned, and clear, with adequate spacing for the visual identification system. The visibility in broad daylight lies in the quality of the colorant, which is relatively easy to handle. Visibility at night, or transmittance, depends first on the distribution quality of the glass beads. The distribution of glass beads should be even. If the amount is moderate, too much or too little will affect the actual effect of the road marking. Secondly, the temperature control in the construction process of road marking project is very important. If the temperature is too high, the fluidity of the coating will be stronger, that is, the degree of dilution will decrease, and the penetration will increase, the glass marble foundation will settle faster, and even sink to the molten coating, and the actual effect of the reflective surface will decrease. If the temperature is too low, the glass beads will not adhere firmly, only to ensure the actual effect of the reflecting surface in time after the construction of the project, and the actual effect of the long-term reflecting surface is poor. Therefore, the glass beads are affected by the temperature, thickness and climatic conditions of the coating, and the time should be strictly controlled during the construction of the project. Pay attention to the glass bead machinery and equipment, as well as the impact of wind speed and wind frequency (wind blowing and the wind caused by past cars beside the scribing car) on glass bead distribution to prevent glass bead deposition. Too much blending will degrade the color in broad daylight, cause unevenness, and make it easy for dust to stick and reduce legibility.

3. Wear resistance:

The forward movement of the vehicle depends on the sliding friction between the wheel and the road surface, and this sliding friction has high requirements on the marking. In my country, the real-time road conditions are complex, the damaged ground is hard and solid, the metal material wheel reels move, and the sand and gravel remaining on the ground all clearly put forward good regulations on the anti-wear performance of road markings.

Fourth, aging resistance:

Thermosetting architectural coatings should have good aging resistance. Combining the characteristics of wide area, dry east and west dry, hot in the south and cold in the north, and more ground, it can be used to adjust the raw material preparation of architectural coatings to integrate into different climatic conditions, and can be applied in different seasons. Aging resistance shall be in accordance with the marked estimated use time. If the road marking scheme is painted every 2 years, the good thing is that most of the road marking coatings should be removed after more than 2 years, or the ground foundation can be easily cleaned to prevent the old line from affecting the traffic flow of the new road marking. correct guidance, or spend a lot of construction time on cleaning.

Based on more than ten years of operation technology and test results, the application scope of thermosetting architectural coatings is summarized as follows: suitable for axes with more wheel reels, border lines, edge lines, and guiding lines of traffic lanes; sidewalks, street intersections, and underground parking. In terms of adhesion, asphalt roads have better actual effects, followed by concrete floors. It is not suitable for sandy ground, brick pavement, temporary ground and ground that needs to be rebuilt in half a year.
